The formal assessments count towards your final mark and have specific due dates attached to them; the informal assessments are for you to test your understanding of the material as you progress through the course but, do not form part of your final grade. Each course also contains an informal pre-assessment (i.e. at the beginning of the course) and an informal post-assessment (i.e. at the end of the course) to help you gauge your level of comprehension. |
